Who we are

OutfitWatch is an iPhone app published by Hichem Hammadache (the “publisher”, “we”), Village Issoumar, Bejaia 06000, Algeria. The publisher is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: contact@outfitwatch.app.

Your outfit photo

When you ask for an analysis, the app sends the photo you took or chose, reduced in size, over an encrypted connection to our server. The server passes it to our AI analysis provider, which describes the colours and style of the outfit so we can suggest watch faces.

Our server does not store the photo or the result: they are processed in memory, then discarded. This provider acts as our processor; under its terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models and may be kept for up to 30 days to provide the service and prevent abuse, then deleted.

The app does not save your photo on your iPhone and never writes to your photo library. It only reads the photo you choose, with your permission.

Your style profile

If you fill in your profile (styles, occasions, watch model, case finish, bands), these choices are stored on your iPhone and sent with each analysis as short codes, together with your language, so that suggestions suit you. They are not linked to your identity and our server does not keep them.

Your watch faces and history

The faces you create, their previews and the list of recently suggested faces are stored only on your iPhone (and in its backups, if you use them). We have no copy. You can delete a face from your library at any time; deleting the app removes everything.

Subscription and free analysis

Payments are handled entirely by Apple: we never receive your name, email address or payment details.

When you have a subscription, the app sends the proof of purchase signed by Apple so our server can check it. To apply the limit of analyses per day, the server keeps, in memory and for 24 hours, a counter linked to the subscription's Apple purchase identifier.

To offer a single free analysis per device, we use Apple's DeviceCheck service: Apple stores for us one yes/no marker, “free analysis used”, attached to your device, without giving us any identifier of it.

Technical logs

Like any online service, our server and its web front end record technical logs: date and time, page requested, errors, and your IP address when the request goes through our front end or when a usage limit is exceeded. They are used only for security, preventing abuse and fixing problems, are deleted automatically and are kept no longer than 90 days.

What we do not do

• No account and no sign-in.
• No advertising, no advertising identifier, no tracking across apps or websites.
• No third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools in the app.
• No sale or rental of personal data.
• This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties.

Legal bases

We process the photo and profile to provide the analysis you ask for (performance of the contract), and technical logs and the DeviceCheck marker on the basis of our legitimate interest in securing the service and preventing abuse of the free analysis.

Where your data is processed

Our servers and this website are hosted by OVHcloud in the European Union. This provider processes photos in the United States; this transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Since almost everything stays on your iPhone, most requests concern technical logs: write to contact@outfitwatch.app. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL, cnil.fr).

Children

OutfitWatch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change how OutfitWatch uses data, we will update this page and its date before the change applies, and tell you in the app when the change matters.
